一心同体、一蓮托生
isshin doutai, ichiren takushou

ok this is a REALLY interesting translation to me.
we can split this up into two parts like so:
one flesh = 一心同体
one end = 一蓮托生
they do split quite nicely down the middle, so it's not a liberal translation that attempts to rewrite the phrase for flow that translators sometimes do. both halves are idiomatic phrases and I'm referring to both japanese and chinese dictionaries/wiki articles to write the definitions.

一心同体 - lit. one heart, same body. to act as one, to share the same beliefs. as "one flesh" this is...quite an interesting textual match LOL. it's also a phrase that you'd probably learn very early on in language studies.

一蓮托生 - lit. to be reborn together on the same lotus flower. to uncompress that phrase...in sukhavati (the pure land https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhavati)) after death, to be born again together on the same lotus flower (some definitions include "people who have done good deeds" as a requirement). this idiom is of buddhist origin and I'm not an expert by any means so I can't really explain how that works
it once again has the meaning of acting as one, but with the weight of sharing a common fate; to work together regardless of whether things go in your favour.
which um is actually really interesting considering how lyctorhood works LOL. there are layers here that...maybe the translator hasn't even realised? also that this is a reference to a religion that is not catholic christianity.
